Use this command to add extra leads on the same geometry. The lead's design can prevent small parts from falling down into the water tank of the machine. It can also be used to fix the part in the sheet, so the parts are not moved because of stresses in the material.
The command has two main options:
Speed up
In this case the speed will speed up fastest possible. This speed is defined in the Machine setting. The speed will be that fast that it's not possible to cut through the material. That will be the micro joints.
You will see the micro joints as yellow short lines on the toolpath.
Jet On/Off
Select the lead you want to use in the drop-down menu or click the "Edit" button to make new lead definitions. You can read more about the different piercing types and leads on "Contours"
If you want to have a stop between jet off and jet on. Then you can activate the stop toggle. Note if you use the Multi option then a stop will be inserted at all micro joints.
The standard lead is inserted at (A). The other three are micro joints with the same settings as (A).
Single
By using this option, you can click on positions where you want the micro joint to be inserted.
Multi
This option can automatically insert micro joints. In this case every 500 mm. To not get too many it is also possible to set a max number of joints.
Remove
You this option to remove micro joints.
