The Join command merges several individual parts into a single part with multiple external geometries, maintaining the master part's name while combining all geometries under one part definition.
🔹 How to Use
- Start command: Launch the Join command from the part management tools.
Select master part: Choose the part that will become the master (Part A) and retain its name.
- Select additional parts: Pick the parts to be joined to the master part (Parts B, C, etc.).
- Complete merge: Confirm the operation to create one combined part with multiple external geometries.
🧠Tips
- Master part naming: The resulting merged part keeps the name of the first selected master part.
- Multiple externals: The final part contains multiple external geometries from all joined parts.
- Pattern matching: This command is useful for keeping geometries together for pattern matching or similar operations.
- Reverse operation: Use Split command to separate previously joined parts if needed.
- Planning consideration: Consider joining parts that should be processed together or have related cutting sequences.
