The Save command stores the current drawing as an IGEMS DIG file, preserving all work and changes.

- Activate the command: Select Save from File menu or use Ctrl+S
- Automatic saving: If file has a name, it saves immediately
- Name assignment: For new files, system prompts for filename and location
- Confirmation: File saves with all current geometry and settings
