The Dovetail command creates dovetail joint geometry by specifying a width and defining the joint path with two points. This is commonly used in woodworking and mechanical joints.
🔹 How to Use
- Activate the command: Select Dovetail from the toolbar.
- Enter width: Specify the width of the dovetail joint.
- Select start point: Click the starting point (P1) for the dovetail.
- Select end point: Click the ending point (P2) to define the joint direction.
Joint created: Dovetail geometry is automatically generated between the points.
🧠Tips
- Width parameter: Controls the size of the dovetail joint.
- Two-point definition: Start and end points define the length and direction of the joint.
- Joint creation: Automatically generates the proper dovetail geometry.
- Mechanical applications: Common in woodworking and precision mechanical assemblies.
