The Poly Joint command joins separate closed polylines together or splits single polylines into multiple parts. This works only with closed polyline geometry.
🔹 How to Use
- Activate the command: Select Poly Joint from the toolbar.
- Enter width: Specify the width for the joining/splitting operation.
Select points for operation:
- Split: Select point outside (A) to outside (B) to split geometry into two parts.
- Join: Select point inside geometry (C) to inside another geometry (D) to join them.
🧠Tips
- Closed polylines only: Command works exclusively with closed polyline objects.
- Width parameter: Controls the size of the joining/splitting connection.
- Outside points split: Selecting points outside geometries splits them apart.
- Inside points join: Selecting points inside separate geometries joins them together.
