The Boundary Trim command trims or deletes objects based on their relationship to a closed boundary geometry. Objects can be removed from inside or outside the boundary.
🔹 How to Use
- Activate the command: Select Boundary Trim from the toolbar.
- Select boundary: Click on a point on the closed boundary object.
- Normal operation: Everything inside the boundary is deleted, intersecting objects are trimmed.
Reverse operation: Hold Shift while selecting to delete everything outside the boundary instead.
🧠Tips
- Closed boundary required: Boundary object must be completely closed.
- Inside/outside control: Shift key reverses the operation to work on the opposite side.
- Intersection handling: Objects crossing the boundary are automatically trimmed, not deleted.
- Cleanup tool: Perfect for removing unwanted geometry from specific areas.
