The Stretch command modifies part of an object's length while keeping other parts unchanged. This is particularly useful when used with crossing selection to stretch only portions of geometry.
🔹 How to Use
- Activate the command: Select the Stretch tool from the toolbar.
- Use crossing selection: Select objects using a crossing rectangle (right to left).
- Specify base point: Click a reference point for the stretch operation.
- Specify new position: Click the destination point or enter coordinates.
Complete stretch: Objects are stretched according to the crossing selection.

- Crossing selection: Objects completely inside the crossing rectangle move; intersecting objects stretch.
- Partial modification: Only the portions crossing the selection boundary are modified.
- Layout adjustments: Perfect for adjusting room sizes or spacing in layouts.
- Objects outside remain unchanged: Geometry outside the crossing selection stays fixed.
