The Polyline Editor command is used to check and modify information in a polyline. It provides detailed information about the complete polyline and its individual segments, allowing you to reverse direction, open/close polylines, navigate between segments, and delete specific parts.
🔹 How to Use
- Activate the command: Select the Polyline Editor tool from the toolbar.
- Select the polyline: Click on the polyline you want to edit.
- Review the information: The dialog box displays complete polyline information and individual segment details.
- Navigate segments: Use First, Previous, or Next buttons to move between segments.
- Make modifications: Use available options like Reverse, Open/Close, or Delete as needed.
🧠Tips
- Visual feedback: The active segment displays in red with an arrow showing the direction.
- Reverse direction: Use the Reverse option to change the polyline's direction without redrawing.
- Open/Close toggle: This option only appears for closed polylines or when changing to closed.
- Delete segments: Remove individual segments while keeping the rest of the polyline intact.
