The Boundary Poly command extracts enclosed contours from existing geometry by creating polylines around selected areas.
🔹 How to Use
- Activate the command: Select Boundary Poly from the toolbar
- Pick inside area: Click inside the enclosed area you want to extract
- Polyline generated: The command creates a polyline around the selected boundary
Contour extracted: The new polyline follows the outer edges of the enclosed geometry
🧠Tips
- Enclosed areas only: Works best with completely closed geometric shapes
- Click positioning: Click well inside the area to ensure proper boundary detection
- Polyline creation: Results in a new polyline object that can be modified independently
- Complex geometry: Useful for extracting clean boundaries from complex overlapping objects
