This article will describe the step by step workflow of replacing your customer's USB license to a subscription license.
Once your customer has decided to take part of the update deal, these are the steps to follow:

Download the newest version of IGEMS CAD/CAM.
This needs to be installed before moving to step 2.

Set up a temporary license for the customer and activate it.

IMPORTANT! Make sure the temporary license is working and that you get the update approval from your customer before completing the next step (run a program in the waterjet machine from the new version just to be sure). After this step, the deal can not be revoked.
Send a video to IGEMS showing the USB dongle number and the destruction of the USB dongle. It must be completely destroyed beyond repair. (Crush it in a vise)

Ask the customer to send the USB dongle to the following address:

- If the USB dongle is destroyed, immediately place a subscription order for the customer (2D for 2D programming or 3D for 2D and 3D programming).
If the USB dongle is returned to IGEMS, IGEMS will notify the partner when the dongle has arrived to IGEMS. IGEMS will then ask the partner to place a subscription order immediately (2D for 2D programming or 3D for 2D and 3D programming).
Add "Update deal" to the order reference in the checkout.
- The order will be processed by IGEMS and an invoice will be sent to the partner by email along with an activation guide showing how to activate the license.
The following years, you as a partner will be notified by email when it's time to extend the customer license.
